Services

Four service lines. One standard.

Inspection, project management, QA/QC, and data analysis, delivered by people who have spent their careers in boilers.

How it fits together

Four services. One team in the unit.

Some mills buy these services from separate companies. The gaps between those companies are where findings die.

At BSI the teams are in the same unit, talking to each other in real time.

  1. An inspector finds damage.

DATO pulls the data for that area on the spot.

  2. DATO sees readings that do not square with history.

An inspector walks down and looks at the area the same day.

  3. Repairs come out of both paths.

QA/QC follows every one until it is done correctly.

Between companies, each of those handoffs is an email and added days waiting. Inside BSI it is a conversation during the same shift.

Mills run these services in any combination. Many run inspection, QA/QC, and DATO as one stack. Mills that use BSI end to end get the full loop, with TRACE holding the history, so the next outage starts smarter than the last one ended.

Bigger than an outage

When the job is a rebuild, BSI runs it.

Some work does not fit in a maintenance outage window. A rebuild or a capital project can run for weeks and involves several contractors who may have never worked together.

BSI project management runs that job start to finish, and it usually brings the other three services with it. Inspection establishes condition, DATO sets the testing program, QA/QC holds the work to the scope. One frame around the whole job instead of a mill coordinating four vendors who each answer for their own piece.
