BSI supports recovery and power boilers in pulp and paper mills, and has since the company was organized. The recovery boiler decides the year, so our inspectors know what it does to itself over a run, where the damage shows up first, and what a mill needs before it sets an outage scope.
When more than one unit is down at once, BSI can cover them in the same visit, findings written the same way. The mill plans from one picture of the site instead of reports that do not agree.
Power Generation
Power plants, covered the same way.
BSI supports power plants too. Every kind of generation unit, package and field-erected, biomass included.
The discipline does not change from the recovery side. Go in, look at every component, document the condition that is there, and report while the plan can still change, with detail inspection where the unit calls for it.
Beyond both
If a unit makes steam, BSI can tell you its condition.
BSI inspects any kind of boiler in any industry. Biomass, cogeneration, wood pellet plants, industrial steam. No piece of equipment is too big or too small. The unit changes, the way the work is done does not.

BSI covers its industries across North America, and covers them well. That is the home ground: the pulp and paper mills and the power plants within reach of the road.
Work has taken BSI overseas when a client asked for it, and it would again. But North America is the base and the focus.
